The lightsaber is beginning to feel like a decent tool in my hands, although with all the Imperial contracts out on the heads of Jedi it's best if I continue to keep it hidden...
"A Jedi should be equally a public servant and a public defender."
Working for one of the few honest politicians left I tracked down and removed a bloodseeker mite that was threatening the small town. Nothing really to report. I believe this trial was to show that we should bow to the will of the electorate... but there's no way I'm going to do that with the current despot in power.
"A Jedi must be willing to put himself in danger in order to do what is right."
A man lost his wedding ring, well, perhaps lost is the wrong word. It was stolen from him under the guise of gambling with a crooked smuggler. One I'd heard of before... he won't be troubling anyone else.
"A Jedi must be an able and courageous warrior."
Unfortunately the infestation didn't stop with the mother, she spawned more and I had to track down the nest for that small town.
"A Jedi must do whatever is possible to protect the natural order of the universe."
I didn't catch all the falumpasets before they infected some of the sludge panthers in the area so the pride had to be culled as well... it was a sad thing but the corruption couldn't be spread any further. Damn the Empire for pushing their manufacturing so hard...
And so I am now a 'jedi'. An old term for something I don't accept... I can fit into the code... but I feel it's somehow flawed. Perhaps I have much left to learn...
